The HarVest commemorates a Sino-Kadazandusun woman who has chosen life in the city. In the new landscape, she honours her ancestors by cultivating differently, and harvesting takes on a new form.
The front closure features an interlocking pattern inspired by interwoven threads on the golden borders of a Sinuangga, the traditional Kadazan blouse. Gold buttons pay homage to gold-plated Betawi buttons which traditionally symbolises the wearer's wealth.
On the flip side, a detachable gold chain that ornaments the back. You can also wear the HarVest on reverse for a tunic look. The final touch of thoughtfulness: pockets to rest your arms between bouts of work, play, and harvesting your dreams.
This piece is for those who have ventured from their roots, yet the cycle of planting, nurturing, and reaping still echoes.
