Celebrating The Space In-Between
Named after the Malay word for "between", House of Antara is a Malaysian fashion house that marries different Southeast Asian influences to create fun fusion fashion. Our pieces tell stories through in-house illustrated prints and inclusive silhouettes.
Celebrate tradition while expressing your personal style with ease and pride. In this House, fashion is meaningful, inclusive, and timeless.
The Team
Deborah and Allie forged a friendship while studying in University of Malaya. Despite growing up an ocean apart in West and East Malaysia, they bonded over a shared passion for art, storytelling, and deep discussions into the night—two small town girls with big dreams and a lot to share.
Deborah (right) is a self-taught illustrator who has worked in branding and advertising since 2016, creating ad campaigns for regional clients and branding systems for startups; but her love for stories started young in a family of preachers and teachers, surrounded by her father's library of books since she could remember.
Allie (left) grew up with a seamstress mother, and was surrounded by fashion magazines, pattern books, and literature. She has been designing her own pieces since childhood, and then wearing them. Also a copywriter, poet, and stylist; she now works closely with her mum Elsie to bring many of the House's vision to life in a full circle moment to her childhood days.
